Radiohead’s publisher denied the claims by singer Lana Del Rey that it was taking legal action over a track the band says sounds a lot like “Creep.”

The publisher, Warner/Chappell, told the Guardian in a statement that while it has been in discussion with the singer’s representatives since August, no lawsuit has been filed as of yet.

“It’s clear that the verses of (Del Rey’s song) Get Free use musical elements found in the verses of Creep and we’ve requested that this be acknowledged in favor of all writers of Creep,” the statement read.

Warner/Chappell added that Del Rey’s claim that the band is demanding 100% of the song’s publishing is false.

Lana Del Rey says Radiohead is suing her for ripping off ‘Creep’

Representatives for Del Rey, 32, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The “Summertime Sadness” singer said on Twitter Monday that Radiohead was suing her for ripping off their breakthrough hit “Creep” on the closing track of her latest album “Lust for Life.”

“It’s true about the lawsuit. Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing,” she wrote. “I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court.”

Del Rey addressed the legal drama on stage last weekend, telling a Denver crowd that she will continue to stand by the track, “even if that song is not on future physical releases of the record.”
