Kurt Cobain’s guitar reportedly goes to daughter’s ex in divorce
Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband gets her dad’s guitar, but she gets her freedom.
Kurt Cobain’s famous 1959 Martin D-18E acoustic guitar from Nirvana’s 1993 “MTV Unplugged” episode will go to the 25-year-old artist’s ex, Isaiah Silva, as part of their divorce settlement, TMZ reported Tuesday.
Silva, who plays in the band The Eeries, claimed that Bean had gifted him the guitar, which was one of just 300 made in that model.

Bean filed for divorce in 2016, just two years after a secret ceremony in June 2014. Her mother, Courtney Love, wasn’t invited.
She also gets the house they bought together, according to TMZ, and doesn’t have to provide any spousal support; Silva had been asking for $25,000 a month.
