In case Donald Glover didn’t need even more on his plate, it seems the potential exists for an all-new Star Wars spin-off starring Lando Calrissian.

Fresh off the release of the galaxy far, far away’s latest film, “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” Lucasfilm studio chief Kathleen Kennedy told Premiere magazine that she’d “love” to feature the gambler in a film all his own.

A spokesman for the studio later confirmed to Fortune that a Lando-centric film is not in the works just yet, but could be a possibility in the future.

The former smuggler first appeared on screen in 1980’s “The Empire Strikes Back,” as played by Billy Dee Williams.

But it’s Glover’s portrayal in the Ron Howard Han Solo spin-off “Solo” that’s sparked renewed interest in the character.

The film premiered last week to reviews that were largely tepid — save for the massive praise heaped on the 34-year-old Glover.

As the Daily News’s review noted, “Glover chews his way through the scenery of several star systems with such aplomb and charisma that one can only hope for a ‘Lando: A Star Wars Story.'”

The film is set to get a wide release May 25. Other projects in the pipeline at Lucasfilm include a set of new films from “Game of Thrones” creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, a new trilogy from director Rian Johnson and J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode IX,” set to debut in December 2019.

Glover, meanwhile, will release his fourth album as Childish Gambino sometime this year, and recently wrapped the second season of his FX series “Atlanta.”
