Show featuring Avenatti and Scaramucci being pitched to networks
Michael Avenatti, who’s grown a reputation for battling Trump boosters on cable news, may soon get his own TV show to butt heads with one of the President’s most loyal supporters, Anthony Scaramucci, according to a report.
Multiple people briefed on the matter told the New York Times Thursday that prominent TV agent Jay Sures has recently pitched a show concept to CNN and MSNBC in which Avenatti and The Mooch would square off in a tête-à-tête political show-down.
Avenatti, who represents porn star Stormy Daniels in a defamation lawsuit against President Trump, appears on cable news shows several times a week, often to engage in heated back-and-forths with supporters of the president.
Scaramucci, the one-time White House communications director, was fired after just 11 days on the job in the wake of giving a profanity-laced magazine interview. He’s one of Trump’s most fervent supporters outside the White House.
