Atlantic City is about to become a rock and a hard place.

When the highly anticipated Hard Rock Hotel and Casino opens on June 28, it will feature show-stopping memorabilia from The King of Pop, Ri-Ri and Prince.

The Daily News has learned that Michael Jackson’s Swarovski crystal glove, Rihanna’s white dress from the “Good Girl Gone Bad” album cover and Prince’s “Lovesexy” outfit will all be on display after they arrive on a private plane — just like the rock stars who owned them.

“The items will be flown under guard in a private jet to A.C. from the Hotel’s ‘Rock Vault’ at Universal’s Orlando Resort,” according to a source familiar with the process. “Over 80,000 pieces of rock and roll memorabilia are stored (in the Vault) until they’re sent to one of the Hard Rock’s locations around the world.”

Other items making the trip to Atlantic City are said to include a guitar played by Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon’s hand-written lyrics to “Imagine” and, adding some local flavor, clothes worn by Bruce Springsteen on his “Born in the U.S.A.” tour.

This hotel itself has a bit of history too. Prior to its $375 million renovation, the property operated as the infamous Trump Taj Mahal. That property opened in 1990, and survived bankruptcy and a change in ownership before finally closing for good in 2016.

Hard Rock reps have not replied to a request for comment.
