'Teen Mom' star Farrah Abraham arrested for fighting with staffer at swanky hotel
Reality star Farrah Abraham was arrested in California after allegedly getting into a fight with a hotel staffer, police said.
Abraham was charged with battery and trespassing after an altercation Tuesday at The Beverly Hills Hotel, an official with the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to the Daily News.
The “Teen Mom” star, 27, allegedly hit a male staff member at the five-star hotel after she getting into an argument with him, according to TMZ, which was first to report the arrest.
She was reportedly overheard saying that people should know who she is during the incident. Authorities suspect alcohol was a factor, according to the celebrity gossip website.
A spokesperson for the hotel was not immediately available for comment.
Abraham rose to fame in 2009 as a star of the MTV reality series “16 and Pregnant,” as well as its subsequent spinoff series “Teen Mom.” Her daughter Sophia is now 9 years old.
The reality star has also delved into the music world, releasing an album titled “My Teenage Dream Ended” in 2012, followed by a memoir by the same name later that year.
